Wendi C. Smith Art

In 2012 it had been 38 years since I picked up a brush to paint. During that winter I rekindle my love for painting and just can't seem to get enough. I have been studying and painting with Mary Tagliari, Lance Walker, Robert Roark, Mary Alice Eisenburg and Liz Hutchinson. Master Artist, Karol Wycoff has become my friend and mentor who's encouragement has pushed me to show my work in public. I am having a great time getting involved in the art communities on Cape Cod and Punta Gorda, FL.

Inspired by Mother Nature and beautiful Cape Cod the subjects of my painting are Seascapes, Landscapes, Still Lifes and Nature's Vignettes. My hope is that people will take away from my art, pleasure, enjoyment and a sense of being there. Also that my paintings will remind them of a place or time in their own lives that may bring good feelings and fond memories.
